If you are looking for a master-level blonding specialist in the Seattle area or the Eastside, stop looking and book with Kylie Jurgens. She is a rare find, both in character and in skill. Kylie is a true blonding and color correction expert. She was able to get my thick, belly-button length hair to a gorgeous, healthy, perfectly toned bright blonde that no one else I’ve been to could achieve.. including high-end salons in both Los Angeles and Seattle! To put this into context, my hair had previously been damaged, colored, and over-processed by “experts” who promised results they couldn’t deliver. Kylie approached my hair with precision, patience, and an extraordinary level of technical knowledge. She lightened in controlled sections rather than bleaching my entire scalp at once, rinsing strategically to avoid over-processing. She safely addressed stubborn sections that didn’t lift evenly the first time, and carefully wove out previously over-processed highlights to prevent breakage.. something that could have easily gone wrong in less experienced hands. I genuinely don’t have words for the level of respect I have for her expertise. The way she works is masterful, thoughtful, and grounded in integrity. You can truly feel that you are in the hands of someone who deeply understands hair at a high level. After years of disappointing experiences elsewhere, I finally have the blonde I’ve been wanting. Not only is the tone beautiful, but my hair actually feels healthier than before I saw her. Even weeks later, the tone has held up beautifully! I saw Kayla for my haircut. I haven't had a styled haircut for years, just cut it all one length. I told her what I wanted and she made it happen. Bishops has a 7 day guarantee if you don't like your cut/color. Well, after living with the new style for a few days, I decided I wanted it shorter. Made the call and scheduled the appointment. I didn't feel like I was taking advantage of the guarantee. Kayla was very accommodating, made my hair shorter and even styled it for me. I had a really great experience and I am still happy with the style!

Autumn is a wizard with curly hair! I’m always hesitant to get my “very curly” hair cut, because I’ve had experiences in the past when stylists cut it too short or make it look poofy. Autumn took the time to listen to what I was asking for and the results were the best haircut I’ve ever gotten! I highly recommend Bishops (and Autumn) to anyone, but especially if you have curly hair and want someone you can trust make your hair look great.

I have horrible haircut anxiety, to the point where I feel sick going to get it done and I don’t do it nearly as often as I need to. I’ve had different hairdressers throughout the years and none of them have given me exactly what I wanted, until I went to Haleigh. I told her how anxious I was and we talked about what I wanted and not only did she give me what I wanted and more, she was so so sweet and kind the entire process. Talking with her made the appointment go by so fast and I even forgot I was getting my hair chopped off lol. I told her I wanted medium length (cutting off a big chunk of my hair), not too many layers that it looks choppy but enough to make my hair look good in a claw clip and when curled. My hair is naturally pin straight so every hairdresser that I’ve seen in the past has refused to give me the layers I wanted because it “won’t look good with straight hair”. Haleigh instead did exactly what I told her I wanted and I will 1000% be going back for more regular trims/touchups. Also, you literally can’t beat the price. $69 for a wash, cut, and blow dry whereas anywhere else is upwards of $100 just for them to not give you what you want. 10/10 experience🫶🏻
